DFAS myPay

The people of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, or DFAS, take pride in serving the men and women who defend America. DFAS takes their contribution to national defense seriously, working hard to fulfill the important fiscal responsibilities entrusted to them by the American taxpayers. 

In FY 2004, DFAS

  • myPay Paid 5.9 million military members, civilian personnel, retirees and annuitants
  • Processed 12.3 million contractor invoices
  • Made 6.8 million travel payments
  • Disbursed $416.1 billion
  • Recorded 121 million accounting transactions
  • Accounted for 279 active DoD appropriations
  • Managed $197.4 billion in military retirement trust funds
  • Accounted for $13 billion in foreign military sales

About the website (http://mypay.dfas.mil): Active duty military, National Guard and Reserve military members, civilian employees, and military retirees can access and manage their pay information, leave and earnings statements, W-2s and more with the well-organized myPay section of the DFAS web site at mypay.dfas.mil.
